Mountains And Clouds

Mountains And Clouds

Some elements in nature are more impressive than others. Clouds, for instance, are massive constructions that I have a hard time grasping.

The mountain never seeces to astonich. There are something about the vast areas and the massive formations that often seem overwhelming to me. Driving a car through the large fields of open spase gives some notion of the vastness. However, if you stop, go out of the car and start to walk, man in nature, you get a more intens feeling for what you are up against.

In this massive nature, man has found his place. We cultivate the land, and make it ours. We get acquainted with it, and turn it into something that can serve us. We might even think we are bigger than nature.

And then, suddenly an element turns up that illustrates just how small we, and even our mountains are. When I saw just how small the nearest mounting top was under the enormous hovering cloud, it struck me what sizes Mother Nature are able to muster.
